OGS member Mary Evans will be presenting via Zoom

Finding Minnie McGee - Breaking Down a Brick Wall with a Signature Quilt  (Program)
10:00 am to 11:00 am
The Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave., Springfield, MO and Zoom
A family signature quilt from the 1930s helped break through a long-standing brick wall of Jan Hinsey’s 2nd great-grandmother, Minnie McGee. Multiple family trees were built based on the signatures. These combined with newspaper articles, family histories, and DNA matches revealed Minnie’s family. Jan will be presenting in person.
